MENU THE ARTS SOCIETY HAVERING

From September to June we meet every 2nd Tuesday morning of the month apart from July and August. All monthly lectures take place in The New Windmill Hall, St Mary's Lane, Upminster, RM14 2QH. Doors open at 10.00 am and coffee or tea and biscuits are served until 10.35 am.

The meetings begin at 10.45 am. We ask all members to be seated by this time for a prompt start to finish at approximately 12 pm. The hall is easily accessible by public transport, with a small car park. However there is ample parking available within the public car parks near the hall. Guests are welcome at a cost of £6.00 per lecture.

Car Parks and Public Transport

New Windmill Hall –   car parks either side of the Hall – 20p for 3 hours. Please be aware that these are Havering Council car parks,  the New Windmill Hall Community Association has no  responsibility for them.

 Aldi   - off Gaynes Road- 5 minutes walk  via the shortcut by the side of the store. Up to 2 hours £1,     2-3 hours £2

 Hoppy Hall, Corbets Tey Road – 10 minutes walk across park -  up to 2 hours £1, 2-3 hours £2

 Cranbourne Ave  - opposite Hall, restricted free parking after 9.30am – 5 minutes walk to the Hall  - leads into-

Highview Gdns  - restricted  free parking after 9.30.  5 minutes walk to Hall  (  NB Barrier at end of road into Champion road – no vehicle access

Boundary Road  - first turning on the left from the Hall going down the hill – restricted free parking after 9.30 -   5 minutes walk to the Hall

 Roomes Stores car park - £1 per hour but £1 only with valid receipt from Roomes.  10 minutes walk to the Hall.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Nearest Station – Upminster – 15 minute walk to the Hall

Buses  248 and 360 stop virtually opposite the Hall
